Tessa's Take

Tessa is taking a break. I have had reality handed to me on a paper plate and now I have to clean up the mess. I hope you all will continue to search the grid for awesome live SL music and have a blast doing it! I'll be back, hopefully rested and recovered. Thanks for all of you that have taken the time to read this blog, send comments and shared the love. I'm sure it won't be long til you see me at another new performers live show :-)Thank you for peeking at Tessa's Take....until next time...Tessa1 Beck

Tessa's Take

Good Morning. This week Second Life and the world lost a very special person. Lady Hightower tragically passed away, leaving behind a loving family and friends. SL live music will miss Lady, a well known and loved member of the community. Her laughter and love of live will forever be with me. When someone so dear leaves this world it can be hard to accept, to understand. I welcome any stories you might have to share, comments etc. Lady urged me to believe in myself and my abilities and now I urge you all to do the same. Tessa's Take

Hey, sorry for the lack of posts this month, kind of took a mini vacation. Life has a way of turning you upside down and right now, I think I am in the spinning process. I have been to a few shows, met a few great new artists and had the chance to have some awesome chats with them. I look forward to bringing you some new shows to catch and maybe even an interview or two! I am going to quote Raspbury Rearwin by saying..."Next time you are bored and in search looking for something to do, pick out a name you never heard and check them out, you might be surprised" Awesome advice from a really great friend. Take care everyone! Thank you for peeking at Tessa's Take....until next time...Tessa1 Beck

Wow, RL sure has been playing havoc with my blogging lately! I have managed to catch a few shows, even did a double TAU this week! We had some great performers, it was really a fun day! I received a note from a friend about an upcoming show and thought I would share it with you all. So, without further ado...Hello Friends,
I am so excited about this and can't wait to share -- I hope you'll mark your calendars and join us! Introducing The Greg Levane Band, Friday, August 6th at 7pm SLT at the fabulous Empress of the Aethers!

Only their second performance in SL, Greg and his band have been performing in First Life for over 5 years together. Featuring Greg Levane on drums/back vox and hosting, Wayne-on guitar/back vox, Glenn-on guitar/lead vox and Miachel-on bass

Tessa's Take

Well, it's early afternoon and I have been venue hopping. I stopped by Guthries for AcousticEnergy Nitely's set and from start to finish I was entertained. AE is usually laid back, but today he was doubly so and it made for a nice relaxing hour of cool tunes and gentle chat. I enjoyed both his originals and his covers. I brought a friend along and she was blown away! She is a hard one to impress and she couldn't stop gushing over his sweet voice. So, if you have not had the chance yet, look up AcousticEnergy Nitely, maybe I'll see ya there!Thank you for peeking at Tessa's Take....until next time...Tessa1 Beck

Tessa's Take

Good Morning! Last night I got the chance to catch an RB Hamelin show. Have you? Wow, he has an amazing voice, clear and strong. His set consists mostly of country style songs, but he throws in a few other genres as well. I was really impressed with his originals, very well done and enjoyable. His cover of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" was awesome! I plan to catch another show soon, hope to see you there!Thank you for peeking at Tessa's Take....until next time...Tessa1 Beck
